Black Chana Bhel/Salad





Serve with drinks or as a salad.






Ingredients:
Black/Brown chickpeas - 2 cups, soaked in water overnight.
Onion - 1 cup, chopped
Tomatoes - 1/2 cup, chopped
Green chilies - 2 to 3, chopped
Coriander leaves (cilantro) - 1/2 cup, chopped
Salt to taste
Red chili powder - 1tsp
Lime - 1


Method:

  • Boil the black chickpeas with salt. Drain the water and add them to a bowl.
  • Add onion, tomatoes, green chilies and coriander leaves and toss.
  • Sprinkle red chili powder, pinch of salt and squeeze lime juice. Toss and serve.
