Paneer Burjee








Serve with rotis or parathas.





Ingredients:
Crumbled Paneer - 1 cup (ref. "Know your ingredients" section)
Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
Tomato - 1/4 cup, chopped finely
Cumin seeds - 1/8 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
Chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Kasuri Methi (dry methi leaves) - 1/2 tsp
Yogurt - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp

Method:

  • Heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  • Add onion and fry till translucent.
  • Add tomato, turmeric powder, chili powder, kasuri meethi and yogurt.
  • Stir till tomato softens.
  • Add crumbled paneer and salt.
  • Cook on low flame for about a minute more or till paneer softens.
